Conditions explored in research

Pelvic pain and ejaculation deserve separate assessment.

01

Chronic prostatitis / chronic pelvic pain syndrome

Exploratory reports concern persistent, non-bacterial prostatitis and CP/CPPS, including a two-patient series and a later individual case. They report symptom-score changes, not evidence that Molto treats bacterial infection or all causes of prostate pain.

See the research ↓
02

Delayed ejaculation and anejaculation

Small studies explored difficulty or inability to ejaculate. One report describes resolution in five of eleven completers; another found gains during use that returned toward baseline after stopping. Duration of benefit matters as much as the initial response.

03

Vaginismus: an individual case

A single report assessed Molto in a patient with vaginismus. It adds a research observation, not a general recommendation for painful penetration or a result established in a larger population.

Get to know Molto

Finger-inspired precision. A base made to hold.

Molto uses a slim, index-finger-inspired profile rather than the broader body of Poco or Crescendo 2. Its larger base provides a grip, while the flexible body allows the user to adjust positioning.

01

A slim contact profile

The narrow form is designed for targeted contact rather than broad external coverage. Small size alone does not establish suitability for a person with pain or recent surgery.

02

A dedicated holding point

The enlarged base is designed to remain accessible for handling. Use the illustrations in Molto's own guide to understand orientation and positioning.

03

Internal or external options

The user guide describes insertion of the head for internal contact or holding the device externally. The quick start identifies anal, prostate and vaginal positioning.

The evidence, close at hand

Review the research.
Keep the context.

The available records are exploratory cohorts and individual cases. The ejaculation study with withdrawal follow-up is especially important: improvements observed during use did not persist after stopping in that report.

Molto · 2025 · Conference abstractVibration in chronic non-bacterial prostatitis: an IDEAL Stage 1 study2 participants · 3 months

Exploratory case series

An early exploratory study evaluated Molto use in men with chronic non-bacterial prostatitis unresponsive to previous care.

Reported finding

Reported pain scores changed from 7 to 3 on a ten-point scale.

How to read it. First-in-human exploratory report with no control group. It does not establish a treatment indication.

Devices supplied by industry; authors declared no conflicts.

Molto · 2025 · Conference abstractAn anal insert device for delayed ejaculation or anejaculation20 recruited; 11 completed

Uncontrolled preliminary study

Researchers assessed Molto as an insertable vibration aid in men experiencing delayed or absent ejaculation.

Reported finding

Five of eleven completers reported resolution, at a median of four weeks.

How to read it. Substantial attrition, no control group and no validated outcome instrument. The result is not a 45.5% success rate across all enrolled patients.

Consult the original abstract for declarations.

Molto · 2025 · Conference abstractProstatic vibratory stimulation for delayed ejaculation13 participants · 8 weeks plus withdrawal follow-up

Uncontrolled case series

A prospective series followed 13 men using Molto during intercourse for eight weeks, with further assessment after device use stopped.

Reported finding

Reported success was 46.2% at baseline, 100% during use and 46.1% after stopping. Latency also moved back toward baseline.

How to read it. Small uncontrolled series. The withdrawal findings do not support a sustained post-treatment benefit.

Molto · 2024 · Conference abstractA novel approach to vaginismus: a case report1 participant · 8 weeks

Case report

Investigators documented eight weeks of home use of Molto by one patient diagnosed with vaginismus and pain during penetration.

Reported finding

FSFI pain-domain score changed from 0 to 4.8 in the reported case.

How to read it. Single case. A fold change cannot be calculated from a zero baseline; population efficacy is not established.

Everyday product guidance

From first use
to ongoing care.

Start with the guide supplied with your exact model. These essentials help explain the product; they are not a prescribed treatment schedule.

  1. 01

    Charge

Charge for 60 minutes before use. The indicator flashes amber while charging and turns green when charging is complete.

  2. 02

    Position

Review Molto's illustrated guide before use. It describes holding the device externally or gently inserting the head for internal contact, with the wider base accessible for handling.

  3. 03

    Choose your controls

Use the on-device buttons to change intensity and patterns. A smartphone is optional; the free MysteryVibe app adds remote control and customizable patterns.

  4. 04

    Clean & store

Clean before and after use with mild soap and water, then dry thoroughly. The current product information describes the device as water resistant; avoid submersion. Store dust-free, away from direct sunlight, at 0–30°C.

Before you begin

Do not force insertion or use the device to self-assess unexplained pelvic or prostate symptoms. Persistent pain, suspected infection or recent surgery calls for clinical advice before use.

The supplied guide is for adults. It advises consulting a medical professional before use if pregnant or potentially pregnant, or if you have a pacemaker, diabetes, phlebitis or thrombosis. Do not use a device with damaged silicone.

Optional app control—what it adds

The supplied guides refer to the free MysteryVibe app for iOS and Android. It provides Bluetooth remote control and lets users download or create patterns. Basic device operation remains available without a smartphone.

Follow the model’s Bluetooth instructions, select the device in the app and connect. Current app and phone compatibility should be checked before purchase. App control alone does not establish clinical monitoring, clinician data access or RTM eligibility.

Questions about
Molto.

Useful questions in clinic

  • Is the concern chronic pelvic pain, delayed ejaculation or absent ejaculation?
  • Has the cause of symptoms and suitability for internal contact been assessed?
  • How will symptoms, tolerability and any change after stopping use be followed?
Is Molto only intended for prostate contact?

No. Its product information and quick-start guide describe anal, prostate and vaginal positioning, and the user guide also describes external contact. These positioning options are separate from the clinical questions studied.

Does the research establish treatment of bacterial prostatitis?

No. The reports here concern chronic non-bacterial prostatitis or chronic pelvic pain syndrome. They should not be read as evidence of treatment for bacterial infection, acute symptoms or prostate cancer.

Are the ejaculation benefits sustained after stopping?

Not in the small study that reported withdrawal follow-up. Its reported ejaculatory success returned close to baseline after device use stopped. The study is exploratory and does not predict an individual patient's response.

How does Molto differ from Tenuto 2 or Mini?

Molto has a slim insertable body and holding base. Tenuto 2 and Mini are wearables positioned around the penis. Their contact areas and clinical research differ, so they are not interchangeable versions of the same product.

Warranty and returns

The supplied guides describe a two-year warranty. Coverage, registration and returns depend on the purchase route and applicable terms; confirm professional supply arrangements in writing. For a product issue, contact support with the model and order details—not patient-identifiable information.
